A Fuzzy Yellow Spot meditates on the toy as a timeless space of comfort and security. A sacred bridge between the worlds of fantasy and reality.
It was commissioned by The Joyce Theater, in NY in 2021 for the series "Discourse: Disabled Artists at The Joyce," curated by award-winning choreographer Jerron Herman.
A Fuzzy Yellow Spot is part of the triptych Memoirs of a Disabled Child: The Real, the Imaginary, and the Misunderstood.
